Wet hire vs dry hire

What it costs
Our 21 tonne excavator is from $210 per hour + GST, plus float hire to get it to site and home again. Float cost depends on distance, so a job at Chatsworth or Pie Creek costs less to mobilise than one out past Kilkivan or down to Nambour. Bundling work into one visit — a pad cut, a fence line and some clearing — means one float fee instead of three.
