Gympie Rural Contracting is a rural earthmoving business working out of Gympie. We run a 21 tonne excavator on wet hire and take on the jobs rural blocks actually need done.
How we work
You talk to the person running the machine. We look at the job, tell you honestly what it'll take, and give you a rate you can plan around — from $210/hr + GST, plus float hire to get the machine to site.
Most of our work is clearing and stick raking, cutting fire breaks and fence lines, building and desilting dams, and pad cuts for houses and sheds. We also do rural fencing with round posts, dog wire and barb.
We're adding a D6 dozer to the fleet, and we'll hire in whatever other plant a job needs rather than making the wrong machine do the work.
What we don't take on

If a job isn't in our wheelhouse we'll say so up front and point you somewhere else.
