How much does an excavator cost per hour in Gympie?
Our 21 tonne excavator is from $210 per hour + GST, plus float hire to get the machine to site. The final rate depends on the job, the machine required and the current fuel price, so we quote each job properly rather than guessing.
What areas do you service?
We're based in Gympie and work from Maryborough down to Nambour, and from Tin Can Bay across to Kilkivan. For larger jobs we'll travel further — just ask.
What is wet hire?
Wet hire means the machine arrives with an experienced operator included. You tell us what needs doing; we bring the plant and the person to run it.
Do you build and clean out farm dams?
Yes. We build new dams and desilt existing ones, including wall, batter and spillway shaping, with the silt spread or stockpiled where you want it.
What type of fencing do you do?
Working rural fencing: dog wire and barbed wire on round timber posts, with strainers, stays and steel gates. We don't do post and rail, timber panel fencing or small town yards.
Do you clear fire breaks before the fire season?
Yes. We cut boundary and internal fire breaks, asset protection breaks around buildings, and clear access tracks. Book early — the weeks before the season get busy.
